Paul is a commercially astute finance and operations leader, with a proven track record at CFO and Managing Director level across both SME and scaling businesses. He brings together deep financial expertise with broad operational leadership — encompassing IT, HR, legal, trade compliance, and systems implementation — to drive sustainable growth and deliver strategic value at board level.
 

With over 25 years of experience, Paul has a strong record of restructuring and professionalising growing businesses: enhancing reporting and controls, implementing enterprise systems, and creating the governance and financial clarity required to attract external investment or position a business for sale. He has been closely involved in several successful transactions for owner-managed businesses, spanning all preparatory work to maximise value, through acquisition due diligence and final completion.
 

Paul has operated primarily within international SME businesses with turnovers up to £150m, across UK, US and EU operations — including multi-subsidiary, multi-currency environments. He has led cross-functional teams across Finance, IT, HR and Legal, and has extensive experience of ERP selection and implementation, integrated reporting, and trade compliance in complex regulatory environments including US tariff and customs obligations.
